Ms. Jing (Cayla) Li currently serves as Secretary-General of the Global Solar and Storage Sustainable Alliance (GSSA), and Sustainability Officer at JA Solar CO., Ltd. She holds dual degrees (LL.B. & B.A.) in Law and Journalism & Communication from China University of Political Science, and an MBA from the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. Since joining JA Solar in 2015, she has taken on diverse responsibilities, and has led brand strategy, group-level climate action, and ESG and sustainability initiatives. She has represented the company and Chinese youth at major international fora including the 24th Tripartite China-Japan-South Korea Environment Ministers Meeting, the UN ECOSOC Youth Forum (2024), the UN Water Conference, COP27–30 and New York Climate Week, and serves in several expert and mentorship roles on carbon management and sustainability education.
