Huang Changtong is the China Specialist from FAIRR Initiative, focusing on FAIRR’s development in the Chinese market, with a particular interest in the 12 Chinese animal protein companies in the FAIRR Protein Producer Index. Changtong also engages with key stakeholders related to FAIRR’s work in China, including investors, NGOs, academics, etc.

Previously, Changtong worked at Apple and WeWork in China. After relocating to London in 2019, he joined the London Branch of the Bank of China as a research assistant focusing on green finance. He holds an MSc in International Business Management from the University of Surrey and a Master by Research degree at Lancaster University. As part of his research project, he developed a framework for businesses to become carbon net-zero using Life Cycle Assessment to analyse the product carbon footprint and scope 3 emission in supply chains.
