Steven Zhu is a youth scholar focusing on climate change, energy transition and sustainable urban development. He received his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Economics and Policy from UC Berkeley, and his master’s degree on Legislative Affairs from George Washington University. Previously, Yuqing worked at California Governor’s Office of Planning and Research, National Regulatory Research Institute, California-China Climate Institute, and Carbon Neutrality Institute at Southeast University, strives to advance global climate actions and low-carbon transition. His work covers climate actions and energy transition research at international, national and subnational level, while consulting government and companies on low-carbon transition. Yuqing is currently conducting research at Suzhou Energy Group. He is a volunteer at “Citypedia” and a facilitator at “Climate Fresk”.

The Impact Climate Innovation Conference is an international platform for cooperation and exchange in the climate field, dedicated to connecting innovators, decision-makers and actors from different industries and multiple subjects, accelerating the green low-carbon transition and global emission reduction process through innovation and cross-border cooperation, and jointly building a sustainable future.
With the support of the Department of Ecology and Environment of Hainan Province and Department of Commerce of Hainan Province, the conference has been listed as a “Hainan Provincial Exhibition Project” for three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024.
