Dr. Tan Zhetao holds a Ph.D from the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is a member of the International Quality-controlled Ocean Database (IQuOD). He also hold the certificate in CFA-ESG. His research interests include ocean climate risk assessment, ocean observation, ocean environmental monitoring, and ESG practice, with a particularly focus on compound climate change and climate disaster risk reduction (DDR) in mariculture. Dr. Tan has published over 10 peer-reviewed academic papers. He also served as a visiting scholor at the École Normale Supérieure du Paris, France. He has been delivered several presentaions or invited talks at different academic conferences or climate summits, both domestically and internationally. He served as a outflow delegation of China at the 27th session of the Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (COP 27).
