Zhang Jingbo is currently the Deputy Director of the Desert Forestry Experimental Center at the Chinese Academy of Forestry, the Director of the National Forestry and Grassland Desertification Prevention and Control Engineering Technology Research Center, a member of the National Technical Committee 365 on Desertification Control of Standardization Administration of China, and the Secretary General of the Shrubs Afforestation and Industrial Development Professional Committee of the China National Sand Control and Desert Industry Society. He is a senior engineer and holds a doctoral degree. Since 2002, he has been working on the front line of desertification prevention and control in the Ulan Buh Desert, dedicated to researching the practical difficulties and hotspots of forestry production in desertified areas. Currently, he has led 11 research projects or projects. He has published 64 scientific papers, including 5 SCI papers. Participated in the compilation of one national forestry industry standard.
