Dr. Da Zhang is an associate professor at the Institute of Energy, Environment, and Economy, also serving as the deputy director of the Tsinghua-CTG Joint Center for Climate Governance and Low-Carbon Transformation and the Center of Climate Governance and Finance at the Institute for Carbon Neutrality, Tsinghua University. His research has appeared in Nature Climate Change, Nature Energy, PNAS, Joule, One Earth, and Lancet Planetary Health. He has been supporting energy and climate policy analyses for the National People’s Congress, Ministry of Ecology and Environment, NDRC, NEA, MOF, MOST, SASAC, and other ministries. He has also led several research grants sponsored by the World Bank, IEA, and EDF. He serves as the associate editor of Climatic Change, Journal of Global Economic Analysis, and Energy and Climate Management.
