After joining the International WELL Architecture Research Institute, Song Yi led the promotion of WELL certification for projects such as the Beijing Winter Olympics Village Talent Apartment, Beijing Yintai Center, Daimler China R&D Technology Center, WELL Habitat Laboratory, as well as Panasonic Sleep Health Experiment and the research and development of ocean office healing plants. In recent years, his work has mainly focused on elderly care and health, participating in the development of safe elderly care standards, the health certification of Shenzhen Guangzhou Zhenyi Nian project, participating in the construction of Yixing Yada Panasonic Elderly Care Community, and the WELL-WPR certification of Anxin Elderly Care Beijing Exhibition Hall.
Mr. Song Yi actively promotes the development of healthy buildings and healthy living, and has also served as a member of the Love Health Working Committee of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, an expert in the Beijing CBD Building Alliance, and a LEED lecturer and CEM engineer for the US Green Building Council in other authoritative organizations.
Mr. Song Yi previously worked for the Fortune 500 American United Technologies Corporation and participated in or completed over a hundred green and healthy building projects, such as the China Development Bank, Beijing’s tallest building, China Zun, Beijing’s first Chinese Green Label project, Ronghua Shijia, Excellence Shenzhen Qianhai No.1, Coca Cola R&D Center, and others. In addition, he also participated in leading the energy-saving renovation and building commissioning of some projects, such as the renovation of Building D of Beijing Wantong Center, which received energy-saving subsidies from the Chaoyang government, and the overall commissioning of SOHO Wangjing.
