Danzhou Yangpu Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park is a key project within the core policy pilot zone of the Danzhou Yangpu Bonded Port Area in the Hainan Free Trade Port. It carries the strategic mission of building an international shipping hub for the New Western Land-Sea Corridor and serving as Hainan’s vital gateway to the global market. The park pioneeringly leverages the unique policies of the Free Trade Port, such as “zero tariffs, low tax rates, a simplified tax system,” and trade/investment facilitation, to create a one-stop service platform. This platform integrates customs supervision and inspection, bonded warehousing and logistics, and the innovative “offline self-pickup” retail model, significantly reducing operational costs for businesses. It stands as a model of institutional integration and innovation for new trade formats within the Free Trade Port.
This industrial park is a key demonstration project for the Hainan Free Trade Port’s development and is designated as the core carrier for a first-tier priority city in the Hainan Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone. By coordinating its development with the Yangpu International Healthy Food Port and the international shipping hub, it is fostering the formation of a full industrial chain ecosystem encompassing “planting & breeding + deep processing + cross-border e-commerce.” Furthermore, the park is adjacent to the country’s first “Digital Bonded (Data Processing) Zone,” exploring cross-border data flow to provide digital empowerment for the industry.
The park’s development is underpinned by robust infrastructure: it directly relies on the Yangpu International Container Terminal, which has already ranked among China’s top 20 major ports. Plans are in place to continuously expand the international shipping network covering domestic routes, Southeast Asia, and North America. According to provincial-level plans, the park aims to establish a mature cross-border e-commerce ecosystem within 3-5 years, with the goal of becoming a regional industrial highland.
