In 2009, he brought China’s bamboo forests to the global stage, becoming the first person worldwide to achieve FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification.

Additionally, he has been honored by the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia as a “Pioneer Environmental Entrepreneur.”He is committed to promoting the circular economy, and in the seven years since founding G-COVE, he has reduced plastic pollution by 7 million tons and significantly lowered carbon emissions by over 10 million tons through innovative technologies and plant-based solutions.

As Vice President of the Jiangsu-Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia, Mr. Eugene Chua exemplifies effective China-Malaysia economic and trade cooperation, facilitating exchanges and collaboration between the two countries.
