Roman Shemakov is an infrastructure development expert, specializing in technology applications for urban resilience and adaptation. He has worked on infrastructure technology implementation at the Asian Development Bank and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. Roman has supported water supply, data center and satellite infrastructure projects to increase adaptation capacity in Central and Southeast Asia. He was a Yenching Scholar at Peking University and edited the book Decarbonizing Asia: Innovation, Investment, and Opportunities.
