Dr Lu is a well-known pioneer of sustainable business strategy and well-respected industry thought leader. He is also Deputy Director of Sustainability Council of China Academic Committee of Management, Member of PRME Committee China (UN Principles for Responsible Management Education), Member of the Examination and Curriculum Committee of Hongkong Institute of Education for Sustainable Development, invited expert of the China Federation of Industries and Economics Think Tank. He performed many senior executive roles for more than 20 years in a variety of industry sectors and multinational companies, such as President General Affairs Essilor Greater China, President China of The Weir Group, and Global Partner of Brunswick Group, Executive Vice President of Singapore RGE Group (China) and Chief Representative, Chairman of RGE subsidiary Asia Symbol Paper & Pulp Ltd, Acting President of BHP Billiton (China).

Dr. Lu acquired PhD of Ecommerce (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) , Master Degree of Industrial Innovation Management Ecole Centrale de Paris, and Bachelor Degree of Chemical Engineering Zhejiang University.
