Engaged in teaching and research related to marine ecology, artificial reefs, seaweed farms, marine ranches, etc. for a long time. Current Vice Chairman and Deputy Director of the Expert Committee of the National Modern Marine Ranching Science & Technology Innovation Alliance, Member of the Expert Advisory Committee for Marine Ranch Construction of the Ministry of Agriculture, Director of the East China Sea Comprehensive Workstation, Deputy Director of the Marine Ranching Committee of the China Society of Fisheries, Deputy Director of the Marine Resources Special Committee of the Chinese Natural Resources Society, Member of the Fisheries Resources Branch of the National Fisheries Standards Committee, and Member of the Standards Committee of the China Algae Industry Association. He has been awarded the title of Shanghai Shuguang Scholar and Outstanding Educator, and has successively led the National 863 Key Project, 973 Preliminary Project, National Natural Science Foundation, Ministry of Science and Technology National Key Special Project, Algae Industry Technology System “Algae Field Construction and Ecological Restoration” Post Scientist Special Project, Marine/Agricultural Public Welfare Project, Ministry of Education Excellent Young Teacher Funding Program Project, and Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries Bureau Special Project. The chief editor/deputy chief editor has authored 5 monographs, formulated 3 standards, won 6 provincial and ministerial level awards, published over 200 papers, authorized more than 50 patents, and trained over 100 master’s and doctoral students.
