Qiao Feng is the Director of the Climate Change Program at the China Blue Sustainability Institute. Mr. Qiao graduated from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey with a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies, and has been engaged in energy conservation, emission reduction and low carbon development policy development. 2007 to 2009, he worked for the Department of Land, Environment and Resources of Hainan Province, engaging in environmental planning and evaluation. 2009 to 2013, he was the deputy director of the Climate Change and Energy Division of the Consulate General of the UK of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Guangzhou. In 2013, he joined the Postdoctoral Mobile Station of Applied Economics in the School of Economics of Jinan University, engaging in research on low carbon policies, and leading and participating in research projects including “Scientific Formulation and Performance Evaluation of Low Carbon Policies in Guangdong”, “Scientific Formulation and Performance Evaluation of Low Carbon Policies in Guangdong”, etc. He took up a environmental program director position as Harmony Community Foundation in Guangdong Province in 2016.
