Mr. Wang Weiquan is a Registered Consulting Engineer (Investment Direction), and has been working on renewable energy and climate change for 18 years. He participated in renewable energy development planning, distributed energy, implementation evaluation of China’s Renewable Energy Law, renewable energy clean heating, electricity market and policy, and renewable energy investment and financing mechanisms, renewable energy technology transfer and international cooperation and other research topics. His research area covers wind energy, solar energy, biomass energy, geothermal energy, climate change and low-carbon transition, energy development and environmental governance, etc. Mr. Wang has participated in more than 20 research projects, including 4 provincial and ministerial level projects, published 4 books and 10 papers, led the 3 group standards, and participated in 1 national standard and 1 industry standard.
