Qian Mingyu, has PhD degree on waste management, graduated from Rostock University in Germany, one master’s degree on microbiology and two bachelor’s degree on environmental Engineering and Biotechnology.

Mingyu, is taking the role as Team Leader of Environment and Circular Economy Team, in GIZ East Asia since 2017, is leading the projects covering various topics, including low carbon waste management, agricultural sustainable development, marine litter, plastic pollution and recycling, circular economy in the fields of packaging, batteries, e-waste, vehicles, textile and remanufacturing.
