Eastern Coordinator of Farmers’ Seed Network , Plant Photographer, Seed Recorder, Partner of Friends of Nature Linglong Project, Practitioner & Advocator of Sustainable Farming System.
During2014 to 2019 Shen Ye worked in Beijing Farmers’ Market, as one of the core members of the organization management, she had organized more than 400 Farmers’ Markets, and had influenced and successfully built up an ecological consumer platform with more than one million people;
during2019 to 2021 she worked in Dynamic Agricultural Association of Australia as Marketing/Agriculture Promotion Manager, and was actively involved in promoting farms across the country to improve the soil by planting green manure and other technical means. From2020 to 2022 ,as the eastern coordinator of Farmers’ Seed Network and partner of Friends of Nature Linglong Project, Shen Ye will work on researching and practicing eco-farming under climate change, and will be responsible for building a network for “Hidden Seeds for the People” in Eastern China, as well as conserving and documenting old local varieties/farmers’ seeds.
