Xu Xuechao, founder of Qiyue Farm, graduated in Plant Protection from Anhui Agricultural University. He is recognized as a Yixian May Fourth Youth and is a member of the Huangshan Young Entrepreneurs Association. He is also a role model among university graduates who have returned to rural areas in Anhui Province.
In 2015, he teamed up with a group of young farmers and several consumers to lease nearly a thousand acres of land, subsequently establishing a rice wine factory in Nanping Village, Huangshan. Committed to natural farming, he has collaborated with local villagers through contract farming and successfully built one of China’s leading organic rice wine brands.
