Wang Deli, Director of the Key Laboratory of Vegetation Ecology, Ministry of Education, Northeast Normal University, Director of the Jilin Songnen Grassland Ecosystem National Field Scientific Observation and Research Station; Formerly served as a member of the Continuing Committee of the International Grassland Conference (IGC), a member of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council Discipline Appraisal Group, and Vice Chairman of the Chinese Grassroots Society, Associate Editor of Rangeland Ecology & Management, Ecological Journal and Grassland Journal, Editorial Board Member of Grassland Science and Grassland Research.

Mr. Wang Deli has long been engaged in grassland ecology and grazing management, conducting systematic research on multi species interactions and multifunctionality, trophic level effects, grazing regulation, and grassland management. He has published over 240 papers and authored 6 research monographs in PNAS Ecology, Journal of Ecology, Science, Nature, and other journals. He has successively presided over more than 30 projects, including the National Key Research and Development Program of China, National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program), the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the 7th Framework Programme. The project of the Ministry of Education and the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs on Grassland Ecology and Biodiversity Innovation and Intelligence Base (“111 Plan”) and the person in charge of the Ministry of Education’s “Innovation Team Development Plan”.
