Pei Jiansuo is Professor at Renmin University of China, Associate Dean of the School of Applied Economics, and PI of Major Project of the National Social Science Fund of China. He is Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Input-Output Society, and member of the Scientific Committee of the International Input-Output Association. His research interests include input-output economics, global value chains, and publications appear in peer-reviewed journals such as Social Sciences in China and Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, also policy briefs are well received by top officials. He has been awarded honors such as the Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award of the Ministry of Education and the Sun Yefang Economic Science Award. He serves as experts for the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, World Bank, and APEC, among others.
