With degrees of Doctor of Laws and Postdoctor of Applied Economics, Dr. MAO has long been engaged in legal and policy research in the fields of green industrial development, green supply chain, climate change, etc.. He presided and participated in more than 40 projects, published 2 monographs, edited 1 book, co-edited 7 books, and published more than 90 articles. He led and took part in drafting, consultation, and demonstration of more than 30 projects covering laws, policies and standards.
Dr. MAO holds different positions in many sectors. He was once the very first Director of the Institute of Energy, Resources and Environment at the CIETC-MIIT, now also serves as Deputy Secretary-General of China Green Supply Chain Alliance, Chairman of CSTM/FC03/TC22 Solar Photovoltaic System Application Technology Committee, Vice Chairman of Regional Sustainable Development Professional Committee of China Regional Science Association, Vice Chairman of Research Society for Environmental and Resources Law of the Beijing Law Society, Political Consultancy Expert of Peasants and Workers Democratic Party Central Committee and Guest Researcher of China Carbon Neutrality Forum.
