In the field of ocean ranching, Zheng Zhi presided over the research and development of the seafood traceability system and intelligent management system for the first batch of national level ocean ranching demonstration zones in China – the western sea area of Furong Island in Shandong Province. As the technical director of the enterprise, he participated in the R&D and construction of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Key Deployment Project (STS) “Integration and Demonstration of Key Technologies for Efficient Marine Ecological Pasture”. As the sub project leader, participated in one of the key projects of the 2019 National Key R&D Program “Blue Granary Technology Innovation” – the demonstration project of the construction and three-dimensional development mode of modern marine pastures in the Yellow and Bohai Seas.

In the field of new energy integration, Zheng Zhi was responsible for collaborating with central enterprises to establish the first domestic pilot demonstration project for the integrated development of offshore wind power and ocean farms. This project is a key project of the National Development and Reform Commission’s incremental mixed ownership reform in the new energy sector. In addition, he was also responsible for building the “salt solar complementary” and “fishery solar complementary” photovoltaic power generation projects with a cumulative installed capacity of over one million kilowatts for the company.
