Mr. Sun Mengzi is currently a project manager from Fujian Nature Guardian Environmental Protection Public Welfare Center. Since joining Nature Guardian in August, 2021, his main focus has been on the sustainable development of onshore wind power industry and the management of the industry’s environmental and social risks during its construction, operation and decommission (upgrading) stages. As a project manager, he has planned and conducted several field investigations, written and published several research reports, prepared and hosted several seminars and advocated policies in different ways. He has also participated in several UN conferences in the topics of chemicals and plastics management as a representative of Nature Guardian. Before joining Nature Guardian, he had worked in a subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation as an engineer for more than 6 years, with one of the projects he participated in awarded “China Construction Engineering Luban Prize (National Quality Project)”and “Tien-yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prize”. He obtained his First-Class Honors Bachelor’s Degree and Master of Engineering Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Monash University, Australia. He had published papers in International Journals and Conferences.
